In the news this week (week 9) ... Yul Edochie slumps on set, Cossy relaunches her music career online and more

Actor, Yul Edochie slumps on set
Earlier this week, Yul Edochie an upcoming actor and son of Nollywood movie star Pete Edochie lost his strength and could not take in air for a while at a movie location in Enugu. Those present at the scene poured water all over him, whereas, others like Patience Ozokwor joined in prayers, and some minutes later, he regained consciousness.
The real cause of the incident is uncertain, but some blame it on the project, 'curse of the gods' which which is spiritually related, whereas, others believe that his excess intake of energy drink and smoking habit contributed to it.

Youngest kids to be admitted into a UK secondary school are Nigerians
 
Peter and Paula Imafidon broke the records when they passed A/ AS level mathematics at the age of seven, a year later, they passed the University of Cambridge's Advanced Maths paper, hence becoming the youngest students ever to pass the examination. This gift seems to run in the family as their siblings Annie-Marie - 20yrs old, Christina - 17yrs old,  and Samantha now - 12years old each held academic records at an early age.

Ghana Airways office, in Ikoyi, Lagos was in flames earlier this week, according to YNaija, "the fire resulted from a fault in the generator and quickly spread to the building", a crowd gathered and successfully controlled the fire.

According to ghananation, Actress Uche Iwuji is pregnant, apparently her lover, though madly in love with her, is presently married to a European lady in the hope to get his papers. We are yet to hear her side of the story.


Another Nigerian Adejumoke Ademuyiwa has been found  guilty of tax fraud worth £1.3m by a london court. Her accomplice, 35years old Olaide (John) Taiwo was jailed last month for eight and half years. Read more
