Horizon, la gran aventura de ciencia ficción de Wicked Pictures
Wicked Pictures ya ha anunciado su gran apuesta para este año. Se trata de "Horizon", un filme de ciencia ficción que dirigirá Sam Hain ("The Sex Files" / "The Sex Files 2") y que contará con la participación de Stormy Daniels, Jessica Drake, Kaylani Lei, Alektra Blue, Kimberly Kane, Misty Stone, Rocco Reed, Bill Bailey, Natasha Nice, Tony DeSergio y Danny Mountain.
La película, ambientada en el año 2085, explica que una civilización de origen extraterrestre ha invadido la Tierra. De los nueve mil millones de habitantes del planeta, aproximadamente una tercera parte han sido asesinados y casi dos mil millones más han sido evacuados a una base militar en el núcleo de Mercurio. De los cuatro mil millones de seres humanos restantes, no se espera que sobrevivan más allá de las próximas 48 horas. Para evitar la total aniquilación de la raza humana, un batallón de la Marina permanece en la superficie de la Tierra mientras el resto de la gente intenta llegar a la nave Horizon para evitar su muerte.

Wicked Pictures ya ha abordado en otras ocasiones la ciencia ficción en filmes como "Euphoria", "The Visitors", "Space Nuts" o "2040", aunque todo apunta a que "Horizon" espera superar con creces a sus predecesoras. El rodaje comienza el domingo 1 de mayo en los alrededores de Los Ángeles.

Confidence Haugen is best known as owner of Aphrodisiac Niteclub, CEO of a Multimedia Company and Hip Life Artist, Ayigbe Edem's ex-lover. She makes a statement with her dress sense which has been criticised by the many, nonetheless, some say 'never judge a book by its cover'. Guess we'll find out in time as the show starts this Sunday.

La película asiática "Sex and Zen: Extreme Ecstasy", dirigida por Christopher Sun Lap Key, pasará a la historia por ser la mayor producción erótica estrenada en cines en 3D (no es pornográfica, no incluye escenas de sexo explícito); pero aún más por haber desbancado en taquilla al juguetito azul de James Cameron, "Avatar". Y es que en su día de estreno, la película asiática consiguió en Hong Kong 2.78 millones de dólares hongkoneses, el equivalente a 340.00 dólares de Estados Unidos, mientras que Avatar alcanzó en la isla los 2.63 millones (321.000 dólares). Una diferencia pequeña, pero importante si consideramos las películas que entran en juego.
La cinta, rodada en lengua cantonesa con un presupuesto de 3,5 millones de dólares, es un remake de una película del mismo nombre de 1991, también un éxito de taquilla en oriente, que fue catalogada como la película para adultos de mayor recaudación en la historia de Hong Kong. Cuenta la historia de Wei Yangsheng, que cree que desde que la vida empieza se debe perseguir el placer sexual el máximo tiempo posible. Wei se enamora a primera vista de Tie Yuxiang, hija de el sacerdote taoísta Tie Fei, y no tardan mucho en casarse; pero pese a su desmesurado amor Tie Yuxiang es incapaz de satisfacer sexualmente a su marido, por lo que decide acudir a las orgías y fiestas sexuales del príncipe Ning.
La película también se ha estrenado en cines australianos de Sidney, Melbourne y Brisbane, y llegará a Corea del Sur el 12 de mayo, y en junio a Francia, Italia y la India. También pretende estrenarse en mayo en Singapur, aunque los productores están actualmente negociando con los censores locales la versión final del filme. Censura que ha hecho que desde zonas interiores de china se organicen viajes para ir a verla a Hong Kong. El sexo mueve montañas y también a hordas de personas a las salas de cine con gafas 3D.

Tony Oneweek is the first Nigerian comedian to win a Govermental election by winning Anambara's House of Assembly election which was conducted on the 26th of April 2011. He contested under Action Congress of Nigeria, representing Idemili North Constituency, he got a total of 10,801 votes.

SYPNOSIS
“I’ll take my chances” is a tale of love, passion and dance. Osa Ogiamen is a young Theatre Arts graduate that majored in dance in America and is passionate about it. He hopes to stage a drama called “Drumbeats” and scouts all over for sponsorship together with his Peruvian girlfriend Gisele and they are both hopeful to find it. He however has to go for his Youth Service Orientation in the rustic village of Ikot Uyai in Cross River State and there meets the enigmatic and beautiful Idara. Despite their obvious differences the two are drawn together but Idara harbours a dark secret. She has been selected to be the next High Priestess of Unek, a deity that is worshipped by her people through dance.
Torn between her love for Osa and her duty to obey the call of the deity, Idara must choose and face the greatest battle of all. Osa finally receives the much awaited funding from Giselle’s father to stage his production which must be entered in a dance festival taking place in Lagos. The winner of the festival gets a grant of $100,000.00. In Idara, Osa sees the perfect partner for his drama and decides to substitute Gisele, his previous partner with her, making her (Gisele) a bitter enemy. In preparation for the production, Idara leaves the village for the big city and starts dance preparation however the calls from the deity and incessant dreams she has of herself dancing and fulfilling her priestly role, haunts her. This combined with the cries and wails from her family about the imminent disaster and certain death that is sure to befall her should she shirk her duty, succeeds in making her decide to abandon the city, for home. Idara is in a dilemma. Should she attend to the call of duty as the next Priestess of Unek or should she stay and remain where her love resides.
