A Nigerian Rapper Franklin Diggy, Murdered in The United States

24yrs old Nigerian rapper Franklin Ikechukwu Amobi, a.k.a Franklin Diggy was shot dead on Tuesday, 27 December 2011 shortly before 6.39am near a busstop at the white oak Neighborhood of Silver Spring, Montglomery County Maryland U.S.A.

 

According to source at the Montglomery County police, there was no immediate indication, Franklin Ikechukwu Amobi, a resident of 11200 block of Columbia Pike in Silver Spring was waiting for a bus. Amobi was apperently targetted in the attack, police said.

"The early indication, is this is not a random shooting" Said Capt. Paul Starks.

Montgomery County Police received a call at 6:39 am of gunshots around Stewart Lane and April Lane, and shortly thereafter received a second call on a struck pedestrian in the 11400 block of Stewart Lane.

Rick Ross to Be Sued By Cross River State Government for Breach of Contract

Cross River State Goverment has stated in a BlackBerry Messenger broadcast that they have hired a lawyer in the United States, to sue rapper Rick Ross for breach of contract.

Rick Ross who was scheduled to perform at the Calabar Carnival on 28, December, 2011 abruptly canceled the performance.

The rapper's rep speculated, he canceled the performance because of health reasons. The rep stated that at allhiphop.com "Rick was very happy to attend this event, as it is the biggest festival in Nigeria and he is quite disappointed that he will not be performing"

It was also confirmed that he had confirmed receipt of his performance fee in total. "Currently, Cross River State and it agent have retained counsel in the United States to pursue their legal and monetary remedies against the artist"

E.M.E Fast Growing Rapper Skales, Survives A Ghastly Car Accident

Empire Mate Entertainment fast growing Rapper Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, popularly known as Skales, recently survived a Ghastly Motor accident which left one person reportedly dead.

The rapper was said to have been leaving Elegushi Beach located at Lekki, where he partied at the DV8 Carnival. He decided to hang on a friends SUV because the car was already filled.

Report says, the Jeep pumped into the ditch along Elegushi Beach and tumbled. Three out of the four of them hanging on the Jeep including Skales jumped out immediately, but a popular custom T-Shirt maker Gafer, popularly known as Syntillate was said to have ended up under the SUV.

Skales was fast in giving thanks to the grand creator God for saving his life, when he tweeted saying

‘TankGod 4 life….God is 2 merciful…he has neva failed!!! He saved ma life so ama giv him all d praise…so happy 2 see anoda day!!!’@youngskales tweeted.
